Design
AdStrategic
A website and custom CMS to help a young photographer and videomaker get started.

The question
A new maker needed a place to present his future photography and video work.
My contribution
I created the visual design, built the interactions and developed the CMS.
The design choice
I concentrated motion in the introduction, scroll scenes and case overlays. Large headings, warm ivory and muted gold sit on a near-black background.
The result
The website and CMS have been handed over. He still needs to develop the content. There are no user experiences or commercial results to attribute to this case yet.
Scroll, open cases and edit content
This is the framework I handed over, not the portfolio of an established studio. I made the web design, interactions and CMS; the maker will add his own work and develop the content.
A triptych as you scroll
The approach appears in three parts, each with its own text and imagery. Short pauses in the animation give visitors time to read.
A case in its own overlay
A case opens with text on the left and imagery on the right. Media loads on opening and is released on closing. Keyboard focus then returns to the link.
Mobile and reduced motion
On mobile, navigation and imagery take less space. Visitors who prefer reduced motion can access the same content with gentler transitions.
Edit content on the website
The CMS shows drafts in the same view as the published page. Revisions and page locks keep changes separate. The current website content is in Dutch.
