The parts of my environment

The animation explains the architecture; no live actions are executed.

Connecting a different gateway requires integration work.

AI client + model
  • Understand the question and reason
  • Cloud model or a suitable local model

The AI client uses my exposed tools. The model can change while stored sources remain in my knowledge layer.

MCP + my bridge
  • MCP describes tools and context
  • My bridge connects the protocol to my environment

MCP describes the tool interface. My bridge translates the call to my own environment.

OpenClaw gateway
  • Routing, agents and channels
  • Execution and feedback
  • Configuration determines permitted operations

OpenClaw connects clients, channels and agents and organises execution.

My Mac adapters
  • Mail, calendar, Apple Notes and contacts
  • Local files, exports and SQLite
  • App automation within permitted access

My adapters retrieve data from Mac apps with its source and date.

My knowledge and retrieval layer
  • PostgreSQL + pgvector
  • Sources, graph, identity and memory
  • Reranking, freshness and provenance
  • Exportable knowledge outside temporary agent sessions

This is where I keep sources, relationships, corrections, versions and history.

My workflow and action policy
  • My working rules and task logic
  • Bounded scope and approval where required
  • Execution through appropriate app functions

My action policy determines which operation is allowed and what approval is needed.

Connections

How to read this

  1. The AI client uses my exposed tools. The model can change while stored sources remain in my knowledge layer.
  2. MCP describes the tool interface. My bridge translates the call to my own environment.
  3. OpenClaw connects clients, channels and agents and organises execution.
  4. My adapters retrieve data from Mac apps with its source and date. This is where I keep sources, relationships, corrections, versions and history. My action policy determines which operation is allowed and what approval is needed.
